Business Development Rep- Travel Tech- London (Remote) Up to £30K
A growing travel tech business with a global presence is looking for a new Business Development Representative/Account manager to join their very friendly team.
This is a brand new role and brilliant opportunity with huge scope for progression in the next 12 months with opportunities to travel to the US. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential customers through various channels (cold calling, emailing, social media, networking).
Outbound Prospecting: Engage with prospects through targeted outreach to initiate and build relationships, setting up meetings for the sales team.
Qualifying Leads: Assess potential leads to determine fit with company offerings, qualifying them for further engagement by the sales team.
CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate information regarding leads, contacts, and communications.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute campaigns and develop strategies for expanding customer base.
Sales Funnel Management: Build a pipeline of qualified leads and move them through the sales funnel by understanding their needs and mapping the company’s solutions.
Reporting: Track and report on key metrics (e.g., lead conversion rates, pipeline progress, outreach effectiveness) to sales management.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and target markets to refine outreach strategies.
Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with potential customers, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
The right candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience in BD or sales, or a customer facing role. A Spanish speaker would be ideal although not necessary.
Salary up to £30,000. This is a predominantly remote role with approx 3 to 4 days a month in the London office right next to Euston station.
