Senior E-Commerce Manager – Beauty – £55K
You will be responsible for digital merchandising, maintaining freshness and quality of
the ecommerce website, addressing legal matters, creating new landing pages and amending existing pages, promoting the sites and outlining and reporting monthly, quarterly and yearly trading plans. The most important responsibility of this function is to define the company’s ecommerce initiative—or redefine it, if the company’s objectives have evolved and the site has to deliver a new message to the marketplace.
The Ecommerce Manager must be familiar with the duties and responsibilities of IT, website production, and marketing departments, interfacing with those departments (e.g. Design, Brand) to create and promote the ecommerce side of the business.

Digital merchandising
● Responsible for all tradable touch points on the site, from owning the taxonomy, visual
merchandising of all category and designer pages, to optimising cross sell/upsell opportunities
through product recommendations
● Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and
company’s objectives
● Streamline online shopping experience
● Update existing cross-selling and up-selling strategies
● Enable dynamic retail pricing optimisation and personalised product
recommendations
Trade
This role is responsible for driving online growth globally and will manage the day-to-day trading,
whilst also being accountable for developing and executing a long term commercial strategy to
maximise online sales and profitability. Along with:
● Creating monthly, quarterly and yearly trading plans.
● All trading plans, including offers, promotions and sales campaigns should be finalised at least
2 weeks’ prior trade periods. He/she will collate feedback from all stakeholders and adjust
the plan to meet the requirements
● Briefing web assets – Brand assets will either be provided by the Brand team or be signed off
by the brand team
Reporting
● Provide weekly and monthly performance reports for each website
● KPIs to be included in the reports
● Sales performance on each marketplace/channel
● Core financials – sales per hour/day, region, etc.
● Category specific trends
● Website traffic, search engine performance and other referral sources
● PPC and other digital marketing activities
● Warehouse efficiency and shipping speeds
● Customer satisfaction and returns
Your experience:

Starting salary is £55K
