MARION BARRY director
Prior to working in the secretarial recruitment industry Marion was Head of Membership for The Frontline Club, a renowned members’ media club in London where she played a key role in growing an international membership network of journalists and media executives. She also previously worked for high net worth individuals as their Private/Lifestyle PA and was headhunted to work for one of the top 10 business magnates in the UK where she managed all aspects of his business and private life during a key transitional period following the sale of one of his major assets. Her passion for recruitment really kicked off when she was given the opportunity to build a temporary branch for a top secretarial recruitment agency. She managed a very successful and thriving division recruiting support staff at all levels and securing a place within many Preferred Supplier Listings. Marion set up TalentYard in February 2016 to focus on raising the standards in the recruitment sector and offering an honest and modern approach to the hiring process. Having been a PA herself she understands how companies and individuals can benefit from an efficient and trustworthy recruitment agency. Marion lived in Paris for 10 years and speaks French fluently.

SUSIE HUGHES HEAD OF TALENT
Susie has enjoyed a successful career in sourcing and nurturing talent for individuals and organisations from top theatre producers and artist managers to international not-for-profit organisations and private equity firms. After graduating in History, Susie began her career in HR within the public sector but for the last 6 years she has been working within a top London based recruitment agency and leading a successful team. Having also worked within account management for one of the UK’s most well established household-name charities, Susie has been able to work on-site to create strong, strategic partnerships and drive change to increase client satisfaction during the lead up to their main annual campaign. With what she has been told is a warm and natural empathy for others, Susie believes that finding the right talent means nurturing and building genuine relationships to ensure she creates sustainable and long term partnerships between clients and candidates. Susie was excited to join TalentYard in order to push boundaries and break the stereotype of what it means to work within the recruitment industry. Originally from Yorkshire, Susie has been living in London for 7 years but still loves to visit the Dales and the Moors for a good walk and a pub roast.

MICHAEL BARRY OPERATIONS MANAGER
Michael is our go-to person for everything and anything from billing enquiries to HR. He joined TalentYard in 2017 and has become an invaluable member of our team. He is always in a good mood and you will often find him with a pencil behind his ear ready to deal with any situation thrown at him!
