Prior to working in the secretarial recruitment industry Marion was Head of Membership for The Frontline Club, a renowned members’ media club in London where she played a key role in growing an international membership network of journalists and media executives. She also previously worked for high net worth individuals as their Private/Lifestyle PA and was headhunted to work for one of the top 10 business magnates in the UK where she managed his business and private life during a key transitional period following the sale of one of his major assets.

Her passion for recruitment really kicked off when she was given the opportunity to build a temporary branch for a top secretarial recruitment agency. She managed a very successful and thriving division recruiting support staff at all levels and securing a place within many Preferred Supplier Listings.

Marion set up TalentYard in February 2016 to focus on raising the standards in the recruitment sector and offering an honest and modern approach to the hiring process. Having been a PA herself she understands how companies and individuals can benefit from an efficient and trustworthy recruitment agency. Marion lived in Paris for 10 years and speaks French fluently.

SUSIE HUGHES HEAD OF TALENT

Susie has built a successful career matching outstanding talent with leading organisations- from top theatre producers and artist managers to international not-for-profit groups and private equity firms. After graduating in History, she began in public-sector HR before moving into recruitment, where she has spent the last 13 years leading a high-performing team and most recently as Head of Talent at TalentYard. She values working at an agency which really puts clients and candidates at the heart of what they do.

Her background also includes account management for one of the UK’s best-known charities, where she worked on-site to strengthen partnerships and deliver impact during a major annual campaign. Known for her warm, approachable style, Susie believes great recruitment is about genuine relationships and creating lasting connections between clients and candidates.
