It has now been 2 months since TalentYard officially launched and we’ve enjoyed (almost!) every minute of it. We have drunk 87 coffees, 10 glasses of wine, travelled all over London, shook over 200 hands and read 1000s of CVs. We met with over 50 clients and placed superstar candidates whom we can’t wait to catch up with. Whilst doing all of this we pet sited a very cute Cocker Spaniel* for a few weeks (photo below), started looking for brand new offices as well as a potential new team member.
Starting a business is definitely not always easy and we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s feedback and support. Meeting new candidates and clients has genuinely been the highlight of our two months. Every single person has a story to tell and it has been a pleasure getting to know each one of you. The same goes for our new clients, we always feel very lucky to be offered an insight into a business whether it is a young start-up or a multinational. Each company is so different and we truly enjoy visiting your offices and understanding your needs. Finally, there is no better feeling than giving the good news to a candidate. Thankfully, we have made a few of these calls since we launched and this really has given us so much more determination to succeed and grow.
