After many months of hard work and a lot of waiting and hoping, I am very excited to welcome you all to TalentYard. This is what I hope is going to be the start of many wonderful relationships, successful careers and thriving businesses.
For me recruitment is much more than matchmaking. It is about nurturing and guiding candidates through the whole process to achieve their goals whether it is moving away from an industry they have been in for so long, or finding the perfect office culture for them. I genuinely am at my happiest when I give the good news to a candidate and, once the role has started, to catch up with the client and to hear such wonderful feedback. As vibrant and exciting as it is, London can be very fast-paced and the overload of information can sometimes be a little daunting for anyone looking for a job. Our aim at TalentYard is to offer clarity and direction whilst making sure your time is used effectively. My daily motto is that life is short, very short indeed. There is no point staying in a role where you look at the clock all day. Equally, there is no point accepting a position just because of its location or salary. Going through a recruitment agency gives you the time and opportunity to really think things through. We usually meet our candidates in a more casual setting around a coffee and we really get to know each and every one of you.
The same goes for our clients, it is essential that we understand your business and culture. Every organisation is different and each client has specific needs. Having been a PA myself as well as having managed the internal recruitment for various organisations I understand how time consuming the process of finding a new employee is. Sometimes with no positive outcome either. What we offer at TalentYard is expertise and guidance.
